Virginity is really no biggie afterall; it isn't the icing, let alone the cake 💁💁

...since I already took permission to 'just write' and I believe I've been granted the permit (read my apologies - previous post, for better understanding), LET'S DIG! YAY!!!💃💃💃💃

As I was saying, virginity or abstinence is really no biggie you know? Hold up, sip water, I'll break it down, let's journey... (Errm, so I realize some of my audience aren't just Nigerians, let alone Yorubas, but please try and follow, I'll make sure not to lose you 💖💖 I'll be making a few references to Yorubas. Some might even be similar to what you have around you...)

...so, I know some Yoruba gods and goddesses demand their worship done (or sacrifices carried) by just virgins just because these gods love purity. So, to start with, I'll say virginity is more about consecration.

Did you know occultists demand 'virginity' in order to keep their powers safe and intact; potent. This time, more of abstinence or they are said to have committed a sacrilege. You still feel virginity is all the feather there is to your crown? Let's keep keeping on...

My last argument... Even morality makes you wanna keep chaste. STORY TIME!!! Quick analogy from the Yoruba tradition, again 🤗🤗 There's this thing called ĂŒBÁÁLÉ (pronounce according to preference baby, I won't hear you, lol 😁😁). This is how it works. Prior to the first night a man and a woman will be having together as a couple, a white cloth is laid beneath the bedspread. If the wife is a virgin, the cloth will be stained with blood, if not, it wouldn't, no blood. (Well, we now know better; not all broken hymen implies one isn't a virgin but then, back in those days, that hymen must not break, anything you do, keep it intact, that was the drill 😃) As I was saying... The stained cloth is then taken by the groom's family to the bride's home amidst dancing and with extra gifts (clothes, foodstuffs, money, whatever olden day goodie you can imagine). You're asking why? The wife is freshly baked 😋😋 untouched, an asset. So the gifts are to appreciate the bride's parents for the proper upbringing. But if it's an unstained cloth? OMG! We don't want to imagine. The insults - on the bride, her family and her parents especially. They need not communicate it verbally, just send an empty matchbox to the bride's home and everyone understands: EMPTY VALUELESS WOMAN!!! 😭😭😭😭 The two families might even war. After all the stress the family went through to make the marriage a success and now this insult? (Marriage in Yorubaland used to have a lot of extras, still does till present day tho...) Summary, the whole community knows if you married a virgin or not. So, tell me, who dare break the hedge? 💁😃😃 DAMN! CULTURE 😍😍

So now I can address the 'Miss Most Virgin of the Most High' out there oppressing those they feel are lesser humans all because they are no  more virgins. Keeping your virginity isn't really a commandment per say. It isn't an auto key to Heavens' doors. You might wanna lower the shoulders and the gaze a bit and try humility.

Virginity isn't only particular to Christianity after all 💁💁 Plus, you (yes, you) enjoy the dividends there of: safety from health risks and unnecessary pain that accompany heartbreaks ('cos you are feeling used and cheated), let alone the spiritual repercussions.

Why not try adding other feathers to your crown and stop banking on virginity. Not only is it not the auto key to Heaven, it isn't an assurance of a perfect home either. Why not seek the EXTRA? EXTRA OIL!!!

Maybe asking these questions would help...
What distinguishes your 'virgin' from other virgins out there?
Why are you even a virgin?
Are you just guiding the 'spot' and not the whole body?
Are you keeping the body and not the heart?

Really, virginity is just one of the icing ingredients, it isn't the icing itself, let alone the cake...
💖💗💖💗💖💗💖💗💖💗💖💗💖💗

PS: Not only the female folks are meant to be chaste right? They aren't the only one to have morals and values. And God's kingdom is opened to both gender, the male and female... My point, virginity isn't just the female thing 🙄 What's good for the goose is mostly good for the gander after all.

A New Dawn Is Here

Hyhyhy! Hello lovelies. So I've had this page on for, 3 years now right? And it's been idle ever since. I agree, I've been lazy, giving the poor state of my phone for an excuse. I must tell you I'm still using the phone, lol. So, I want to get the page active again, you know this fire refueled. But then, I need our encouragements. Please drop your comments on articles dropped and make sure to refer them to your friends and friends. We don't do enemies right? 😂😂 Although, there might be a little edition in the page title, or should I say diversion in contents. Actually, it was me all crazy about poems when setting up the page, but then, growth comes with a new kind of focus and determination you know. So we will be having more of gender activism, not just narrowed down to feminism, but also treating the few cases of male child abuse as they come in focus, God helping me. Maybe a few poems or motivations at times, and of course, we continually bring ourselves ...

What exactly defines manhood?

Hello! Welcome back 😊 So, earlier this month, I was having an outpour of anger on one of my social media accounts, my WhatsApp status to be precise, so much that a friend had to call me to check, saying I'm a borderline sexist. Lol! You can imagine how much I vexed so much that I was called to check 😂😂 But then, like I later shared with another friend, I was throwing shades on the menfolk 'cos of younger men. Imagine a father, one of those 'I'm the man' diehards; he wouldn't mind going naked so you know he is masculine, pff! A widower! You wouldn't want to imagine how much he squanders his wife's investments after her demise. This same woman was the breadwinner of the family while alive, doing everything to give her family the best, not excluding her husband, still... Now, even at her death, he couldn't hold up for 6months. The children are thrown out of school. He's after asses... Lots to his credit. But he's the man! And the wife...
