Historical nature of 'genderedness'...

"As a girl, you shouldn't..." "As a lady, you shouldn't..." "As a woman, you shouldn't..." "As a female, you shouldn't...' SHOULDN'T DO WHAT? I'm lost! Not to mention the fact that I am sick and tired of this bigotry. How about we try "AS HUMANS...?" It's high time the world broke away from gender inequality. Well, there really isn't anyone in particular to blame for the patriarchal nature of the society. Better still, that one person(s) is/are long dead, so... But really, we have to leave where they left us and move on, after all, change is constant! Enough of defining 'feminity' as: weaker vessel; delicate body; being cute; responsibility to cook, clean, dress and raise children; exemption from sweating/stress being polite non-aggression passiveness; ...anything other than this is then tagged 'not ladylike', PFF! Like we all aren't originally supposed to be all these...
