Yo!!! The ‘Gen Z’ and woke generation versus cultural orientation and application has been everywhere since yesterday. And while I’m not exactly one to jump on trendy topics, in fact, I never intended to until now. Did you ask why? So a thought just hit me, about a minute ago, at 5.32am on 21st August, 2026, and it made me rush to my notepad… While I’ve had the conversation extensively with my girl and my man (don’t be distracted, stay focused), I just remembered I’ve been where the young lady is (I’m a young lady too, but, I believe you get the gist…) When I first joined 9-5, I thought the elderly and those at the peak of their career truly didn’t want to feel old, especially since there are a lot of younger ones in the workplace, while the elderly ones were more of the managers.
