There are lots of lectures and all on how a lady, a married woman especially should climb a thousand hills and cross a million rivers just to 'keep her man's head' in marriage so he doesn't end up with a train of concubines while the man is free to stop chasing his woman, after all, "she's now his, with a owner, now in someone's possession", a regular property just like a house or shoe, oh, maybe a car, pff!
