...exams are on, we're going really brief, no long stories...
So I was in this public transport this evening, on my way from school, and there were these guys witted right behind me, talking about girls and dating and all. All of a sudden, one of them went ''girls don't have sense, all you need is have money.'' I was just there in my seat, listening, you know, making sure I don't break a jaw. Then he mentioned a few instances to his friend who was trying to calm him down with the ''guy, na inside public transport you dey'' (guy, you're in a public transport). I couldn't but chill out after those instances that made him arrive at that conclusion.
Then, say five minutes after this, our bus drove past a guy and a girl making out by the roadside in broad day. (I know some will crucify me, but hello, you aren't joint in holy matrimony 💁 If that was settled, dhurr, act as you wish man). As expected, this same guy again talked shop about this particular lady and ladies in general. Was like ''they sent her to school, she's here kissing a guy on the road'' and that the lady is someone he knows. He even went on to say the girl looked like his friend's little sister (the friend trying to curb him earlier). Come and see denial at it's peak o, lol 😂😂 And to think this babe is a 'chick', so pretty ☺☺ Even the ever talking guy affirms this.
Another five minutes drive and then we again ran into this petite and cute lady in this wear, my God... Why expose your fine frame to this angrily scotching sun anyway? Religion and morals precluded...
I'm telling you, I just had to chill. I couldn't even get angry at the ill talks of this guy against females despite the fact that it didn't go down well with me. Fine, not all females are making a thrash of and disrespecting 'womanhood', but then, this other side of us, these fellow females... Jesus loves us all. But really, religion out of it, we got our integrity, health and this fine body and complexion to look after. This Nigerian weather and provocative dressing? One might just end up being a 'coat of many colours.' Lol. Seem this idiom will be my fave in no time.
Mr guy, you can also help us achieve sanity. Don't encourage what you know isn't exactly sanity and then come insulting these ladies in their senses, meanwhile, they're there thinking you love them for who they are, both as a friend and/or lover. Funny thing is, some don't notice the error in these acts especially in this part of the world. I used to doubt the possibility of this too, until I knew better. Let's build a sane society with respectable men and women in it. That said...
