We're all celebrating except you're not loving the holidays that come with this day 💁💁 So I want to drop this early before commencing my 'Eid rice hunt' 😌😌 No eye on me 😏 Well, I'm trying to be consistent here, posting on the 4th of every month and twice a month. I hope to be more frequent with time...
Ok, to the gist of the day. I was on this group chat yesterday and it was fun until one cute girl cracked a joke which everyone also treated as a joke. So, it means it was a good joke right? Exactly! But then the subject of the joke thought otherwise so he came really hard on this babe then we all went mellow. Actually, if you'll ask me, I'd say it was a harmless joke but with the way the guy flaired up, you'll think they've been having it in for one another.
To the main... This babe despite all these talks didn't say anything too serious to defend herself, she kept going 'it was a harmless joke', 'were we having a fight?', 'what did I say to deserve all these?' Blablabla... (not the exact words anyway). I even thought her outburst would be more. Then after people intervened, she deleted her messages; a very well cultured lazy yeah?
Now to the 'main main' 😂😂😂😂 Then one guy came on stage and his attempt at pacifying the lady went '...handle this like a woman...' Everything he said ended with '...like a woman'; ''What if it was your husband complaining about a meal, you'll keep quiet, so let it pass LIKE A GOOD WOMAN WILL'' and I was like BRO!!! HELLO? 🙄🙄
One, this guy isn't her husband, he's a colleague trying to dehumanize her. Why couldn't he 'act like a human' at first? A woman cannot even express her anger and stand for her own defense? Oh! Yeah, she's supposed to play dumb everywhere, all the time, so everyone can add extra lengths to her 'wife material?' Like God made a mistake putting the mouth there for the 'good women'
Hello! Respect is reciprocal. No one has the right to make another human feel less of that, especially not in this time when suicidal rate is at a climax. Why would you wanna pull another down? Fine, the joke was offensive to you, why not pass the message peacefully, she might have apologized and took back her words. You didn't even try the peace thing first, PFF! Woosh, you turned it to hurtful exchange of words. No man should disrespect another, be it man to man, man to woman or woman to woman. You can't keep justifying everything on gender base, you'll only add propellants to the fire, not quench it 🙄
Imagine me picking those words too, we would've only switched partners cos I wouldn't have given up easy too. Thank God I hate talking much on group chats 💁💁 Plus, I can't stand 'fighters', street or not, male or female. It's both demoralizing and dehumanizing 🙄🙄

I agree with your stance. I believe men and women should be able to express themselves freely and equally.
We are all humans and it takes two or more individuals (male and female inclusive) to communicate effectively - which can only be achieved if everyone air their opinions comfortably.
