It’s been forever guys.
About 2 weeks now? Last times I was here, was I talking about amygdala attack and all the other distractions to me preparing for an exam? Do we want an update on that? Or on the exams?
Lol.
I know I’ll choose the more fun topic, but if you do one better, I’ll tell on both sides.
The more interesting one to me? I’m done with the examsssssssss (throwing a perfect ‘leg work’ even though that’s far from reality). And guess what, it’s the end of a program. I’m super duper excited, not even gon’ be calm about it. Almost dropped out of the program when it hadn’t even started, and now, your favorite writer is a degree ‘hawterrrrrrr’, whew! π₯π₯ (again, imagine me doing some aesthetics to bring you that gist).
And to the amygdala attack…
I wouldn’t even lie, amygdala gave my logical sense just enough room to study. It’s still reigning, weeks in.
Truthfully, I’m not even complaining any longer.
You know that ‘to love and be loved?’ It’s sincerely a beautiful place to be.
I’ve had amazing humans around me for some time now, which I’m extremely grateful for; friendships I couldn’t have envisaged. But, it keeps getting better. Guess, love is a gift that keeps giving, as long as it’s nurtured?
And I’m so enjoying this phase
Trying not to overthink love
Learning to be vulnerable
To the neighbor turned friends
To the colleague turned friend
To the bosses turned brothers
To friends turned “more than a friends”
To family turned friends.
Really, can’t word it all
But you should know, it’s been so much loving
And I’m definitely basking in it
Yes, we’ve been taught to be careful
We can’t be too careful
What if carefulness leaves us lonely?
And our hearts aching?
But ofcourse, we’re careful!
My love,
From my overflowing well of love,
Iyanuoluwa Araba ❤️❤️
